Truck crushes two non-locals to death in Ganderbal | KNO

Ganderbal, July 19 (KNO) : A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were crushed to death on Friday when their bike was hit by a truck in Rayil-gund Sonamarg road in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district. Official sources told KNO that two persons were killed after a motorcycle bearing registration number HR22L-5351 was hit by a speedy truck bearing registration number JK02AG-5369 this morning in Rayil-gund. A senior police officer confirmed the incident to KNO and said the deceased have been identified as Bharat Bhushan (26), son of Ashok kumar and Gurlal Singh, son of Kewal Singh. “Both the deceased are residents of Haryana. The bodies have been sent to Sub district hospital Kangan for post-mortem,” the official told KNO. Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the accident. (KNO)
